One of the most accessible antidotes we have to feeling sluggish is the all natural, great tasting, water!

As one of the 7 practices of The Experience, water is key element in our efforts to feel good!

As part of The Experience, we commit to one half gallon of water each and we encourage students to drink as much of this as possible first thing in the morning. Check out below the reasons why! 

  1. Rehydration after sleep: After several hours of sleep, our body becomes dehydrated, and drinking water first thing in the morning helps to replenish the lost fluids and rehydrate the body.

  2. Boosts metabolism: Drinking water in the morning can help to kickstart your metabolism, which can help you burn more calories throughout the day.

  3. Aids digestion: Drinking water on an empty stomach can help to stimulate the digestive system, helping to flush out toxins and promoting regular bowel movements.

  4. Increases alertness: Dehydration can cause fatigue and drowsiness, and drinking water in the morning can help to increase alertness and improve cognitive function.
