Certified and Registered Yoga Teacher

I began practicing yoga at Inner Bliss during my Junior year of high school. As I attended more and more classes, my confidence started to grow both on and off my mat.

I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga through YogaRenew. I began teaching yoga, last year, during my Freshman year at the University of Kentucky. My teaching style truly comes from a place of gratitude; as I get to share a practice and guide others by doing what I love.

When teaching, I strive to create connections with my students while providing a space that allows people to feel empowered and encouraged throughout their practice!

I practice yoga because… it lets me quiet my mind while moving my body, pausing all distractions to be fully present.

I teach yoga… to provide a safe and welcoming space for others. When I began my yoga journey, I was very lucky to have an instructor who made a huge difference in my life on and off the mat- and above all else I aspire to make that difference for my students.

I find peace… by the ocean.

I have been influenced by… Inner Bliss’s Jackie Quinn, as she has been a large part of my yoga journey and is an inspiration to me.

Some of my favorite snacks are… anything chocolate!

I am happiest when… I am with my family.

I couldn’t live without… coffee and sunshine!

When I am not at Inner Bliss, you might find me… at the University of Kentucky studying to become a Physician Assistant.

My favorite mantra is… Lokah Samastah Sukinoh Bhavantu. It translates to “May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all."

Every day I… find a reason to smile!
