My teaching style meets you where you are on your mat. Everyday our bodies feel different, so my teaching style reflects that acceptance and grace.
I hope my students experience my accepting and open nature and to know that all are welcome in my class. I will challenge my students as well, and continue to bring them back to their breath and back into their own bodily experience.
I practice yoga because… It gets me out of my head and into my body. It calms me, challenges me, and is a stress reliever.
I teach yoga because… I love helping people and holding space for my students. I also love the practice of yoga and teaching others doesn’t feel like a job for me. It’s a creative outlet to make sequences, themes and playlists and to see my students leave my classes feeling less stressed and just in general feeling better, is icing on the cake.
I find peace… Going for walks outdoors in nature, a good yoga class, and sipping on some Ginger tea and reading a good book before bed.
I have been most influenced by… The great teachers who have taught me the practice of yoga and also the teachers on the IBY Team.
Some of my favorite snacks are… Coffee and something sweet
I am happiest when… I am surrounded by my “Tribe”
I couldn’t live without… My family, husband and our daughter Ryleigh
When I’m not at Inner Bliss, you might find me… Walking in the park with my daughter
