I have been practicing yoga for over 17 years & I’ve been teaching yoga for the last five years.
I just love the rewards and benefits of having a yoga practice. I took my first Inner Bliss class in Rocky River and never left ! Then, when my youngest left for college, I decided to switch careers and go back to school for yoga. I completed my 200 hours YTT training at Cleveland Yoga in March 2019.
I teach a variety of classes. I instruct ages 5-95. My favorite classes include kids & teen yoga. Kids are just amazing & like sponges soaking up all the yoga benefits. I love how enthusiastic they are to learn yoga.
My classes are upbeat and fun. I always try to lead from the heart. My passion & goals are to teach yoga and help students of all ages to feel calm, centered, empowered, and confident.
I practice yoga because… Yoga is medicine to me. It helps me to slow down and be present, mindful and grateful. It feeds the heart and the soul. Yoga is a perfect way to calm your mind & body and center yourself.
I find peace… When I walk in nature or by a body of water- listening to a book or a favorite song - watching the sun set - seeing a full moon.
I have been most influenced by… My parents: my mom has been practicing yoga since the 1980s :) my favorite yoga instructors and the kindness in others
Some of my favorite snacks are… Apple and peanut butter , chips and salsa and anything sweet!
I am happiest when… I’m teaching yoga, exercising, have a full house, traveling or at the beach!
I couldn’t live without… Books and an amazing yoga community.
When I’m not at Inner Bliss, you might find me… Walking my dogs , in my garden, at a farmers market or cooking.
My favorite mantra is… Trust. Trust the process.
Every day I… try to move my body in some way, drink water, be grateful for the day ahead and smile at someone I don’t know.
