I am.

Everything that follows after the statement, I am, we are in some way pulling forward into our lives.

All day, every day our mind is on repeat, streaming continuous thoughts and words (approximately 60,000 a day) - many of them (95%) are the same thoughts we had yesterday.

If you sit still long enough, you quickly realize this to be true.

The most famous of these repeated thoughts and words is the phrase, I am. What follows after I am could be anything from how you are feeling at that moment (tired, productive, excited, etc) to adjectives that describe your personality (confident, focused, lazy, etc).

It is worthy to grow awareness around your I am thoughts. Call forth your inner warrior and destroy the I am messages that are harsh, mean-spirited or nasty towards yourself. It’s funny to hear it stated like that, but we know on some level, we are our own worst enemies. And that begins with those I am thoughts on repeat.

Notice today, when the I am thoughts come into your mind, are they for you or against you? Are they cheering you on to a victorious moment with sparkles or bringing you down to the muddy pile of sludge? Are they similar to “I love you man” or close to “you totally suck”?

Once you know where your I am thoughts tend to hang out, you can decide if you need to overhaul them and find new ones. Which ones need to be replaced with “I am a glorious being with unlimited talents,” for example.

This is an excavation project worth your sacred time and powerful attention.

Big love,
Tammy
