If you are reading this, you most likely know the benefits of deep breathing.
You have felt in your own body the exhilarating feeling of pulling a new breath in and the cleansing release of a strong exhale, letting go.
Try this practice at home. It is a simple way to feel more from your breathing practice.
Sit down and sit tall.
Keep and energetic extension in your spine.
Relax your shoulders, away from your ears.
Broaden the space across your chest.
Place your hands on your upper ribs, wrapping your palms around them.
Close your eyes.
Breathe into your ribs and feel them expand into your hands.
Breathe out and feel your ribs contract.
Try this 10-20 times.
Invite someone else to join you.
Notice how you feel.
