Max Strom.

Hi there!

My teacher Max Strom has written the excerpt below in his book, A Life Worth Breathing. I came upon it by chance today and felt called to share it. It feels relevant and important.

“Catastrophes, as challenging as they can be, can create new, unexpected opportunities. We can reinterpret a negative situation into a wake-up call for action. When tragedy strikes, find your footing and let the dust settle. Then, in a few days, take some time and try to see the event from different points of view. Often when things explode in your face, they also blow open new doors. And one of these new doors may just be the answer to your prayer. It was just delivered more powerfully and suddenly than you would have liked.”

“Sometimes when your life falls apart, it is because it’s not held together with consciousness, but rather with illusion, and so it crumbles. What is left is actually a clearer vision of what is real and of value. Many people have found their life’s path only after what they had formerly perceived as their life had crumbled to dust. In other words, it is the illusion of your life that crumbles, leaving reality in its place.” He goes on to say, “in difficult times, we are revealed to ourselves.”

This is a difficult time that is calling us to the table. To show up as our best selves and look to where we can grow and see what new doors have opened.

“Stay Courageous.”

Thank you Max Strom.

Share with me what new doors you have seen open!

Big love,
Tammy
