Yoga works similarly to any kind of therapy, even a little helps the healing process.

A full yoga practice is amazing but even a little yoga, is healing. A mini practice, is better than no practice. When life doesn’t allow for a full hour long practice, we can have some mini ones in our back pocket to pull out almost anywhere.

Try this simple, mini practice:

Stand in mountain with your feet firmly planted hip distance apart, legs engaged, belly drawn up and in, palms at your side and turned open, heart broad, head lifted, spine long… and feel your power, your strength, your determination. Feel into your strong legs, strong source in the center of your body, your uplifted heart, your focus and concentration, your fierce courage. Stand there for 15-20 breaths taking all of this in and then move through 3-5 sun salutations. Finish this mini practice on your back with a supine twist, happy baby and a final rest in savasana.

Ahhhhh…. bliss.
