Your state, my state, our state, matters. The emotional state we are in from moment to moment, matters. Our state impacts everything from the decisions we make, to how we communicate and even, how we work.

And yet, we often just accept our emotional state as “the mood we are in” or as a result of external factors out of our control. But, we do have a say in our state and we have the power to change it.

If you are reading this, you most likely have felt your state change by getting on your mat and breathing and moving. A physical yoga practice is an incredible and effective way to change and uplift your state. An hour or breathing and moving can literally change the way we see the world! It is one of the many beauties this practice holds.

At times we need a state change but we don’t have access to an hour of yoga or there is nowhere to do a costume change, into yoga clothes!

Join me this Wednesday evening at 7:30 pm at our River studio for an hour of exploring our state together and the practices, much shorter than an hour of yoga, that can significantly change and elevate our state! We will talk, laugh, inspire and uplift one another! This offering is part of our Wednesday night series, Beyond the Mat, exploring how we can live our yoga beyond our physical practice in a class setting, on the mat.

You will leave uplifted and with some practices up your sleeve for the next time you feel yourself low and need to change your state! This class will not be a physical yoga practice and is accessible to anyone who can sit on the floor for an hour. Mostly we will be seated, with a few minutes of standing and in the end, lying down. Bring your mat to sit on and lie down on:)
