Eat to Feel, Feel to Eat.

There is a simple way to live fully that calls us to ask: How do I want to feel?

Feel to eat. Eat to Feel.

More specifically, how do I want to feel in each moment, each day?

How do I want to feel in my body?

How do I want to feel energetically and emotionally?

How do I want to feel on the inside?

Once we can get clear on how we want to feel, all of our decisions, choices and actions, can either move us towards how we want to feel or move us away.

Over the years, the practices of The Experience have taught me how to move towards feeling healthy, lite, energized and uplifted.

A long time ago as I was trying to find my way out of an ugly eating disorder, I remembered that food could heal me or destroy me. I say remembered because somehow I always knew this simple truth deep down inside, but I forgot it. Remembering if you want to feel amazing, eat amazing food, not only helped me heal from my eating disorder, it has transformed my life.

Consider this:

  • Eat amazing food, feel amazing

  • Eat unhealthy foods, feel unhealthy

  • Eat average food, feel average

  • Unhealthy foods: fast food, processed food, sugar, fake food

  • Amazing food: clean, unprocessed, from the earth veggies, fruits, grains as well as high quality meat, chicken, fish

  • The same thing applies to drinks

Get clear on how you want to feel and then begin to notice how foods land in your body, notice how you feel after eating and then begin to keep track of what makes you feel good and what doesn’t. Once you have that information, you can eat based on how you want to feel. That information is golden.

Simple.

Not easy.

Getting clear on what foods move you towards feeling the way you want to feel, is just the beginning. Once you begin to pay attention to how you want to feel, you can apply this idea to your work, your friends, your time and so on. It works.

Habits are powerful forces that drive human behavior. If you have poor habits around food, you may have to work hard to break them, but you can do it. I believe in you :) And The Experience will help!
