GIVE.
The practice of giving opens our hearts and softens our minds.
It take us out of the constricted state of me, my, mine and moves us towards the expansiveness of we, ours & us.
Now is a perfect time to commit to a daily act of GIVING.
Admittedly, giving now looks different. But we can approach it with a flair of fun and inventiveness.
Find wildly fun, meaningful new ways to give. And then notice how it feels in your body to give. Notice how your face feels in the act of giving. Notice how your energy is altered.
IDEAS:
give someone a compliment via phone call, text or email
send someone a book that you loved via Amazon
give someone a virtual hug
share a picture of a fond memory via text or email with friends you are missing
write a poem and send to your family
call & re-tell a hilarious story to someone you know is alone
make a short video of how to breathe deeply and send it to someone you know is panicking
FaceTime, zoom or any other act of live catching up with someone you know is lonely
And so the list goes on of new ways to give.
