Deep Listening.
Usually we are moving too fast to hear the whispers of our heart or the callings of our soul or the body’s needs.
Here we are with time to sit still and listen carefully. And take notes.
During the time that you would typically be driving around from obligation to responsibility, find a place or make a place in your home and sit down.
Be still. Close your eyes, and breathe deeply. Listen.
Then ask, what do I need to hear? What do I need to know? You may see fireworks and exploding light in all directions. Or you may see nothing. Either confirms that you are Shhhhhh…. listen deeply. You may hear this voice deep inside calling out, “Hey! Where have you been? I missed your face! You are an unbelievable force of love by the way! And on another note I need more water and sleep please.”
Or who knows what you will hear, but whatever it is, it’s you, yours and your own. Worthy of being heard.
