truly grateful.
To feel truly grateful is one of the most intoxicating and powerful feelings possible for humans.
It’s the feeling that begins as an electric burst of goodness in your heart center, followed by the feeling of a rainbow is being born in your body and finally feels like you have been wrapped up in the warm embrace of a hug from the most magnanimous, furry, fuzzy creature your can imagine being hugged by!
In short, feeling grateful is like magic!
And we have a whole 4 day weekend of that magic coming upon us in a week! How lucky are we!?
What if we dedicated those 4 days to thinking about what we are grateful for, making lists of our blessings, telling our loved ones how much they mean to us, dwelling on our own gifts and talents we appreciate about ourselves, remembering all of the miracles we have witnessed in our lives, fixating on the little things in our every day like we are grateful for, contemplating the love we have witnessed in the world, writing notes to the people who have helped us become our best selves, singing songs that elicit feelings of being thankful, giving out unlimited hugs and laughing at all costs, as much as possible!
What if feeling grateful was our mission for 4 days straight?
What if Thanksgiving is a call to our highest self to be in a perpetual state of gratitude for 4 days, like a training program for all of the other 361 days of the year?
What if Thanksgiving was simply a chance to feel grateful on purpose and enjoy how that lands in our hearts and bodies! Enjoy getting ready to be grateful! Hope to see you on the mat soon!
