keeping track.

We are really good at keeping track of what isn’t working.

Somehow our habit can be keeping track of losses and short comings. Keeping track of the letdowns, lowdowns and setbacks can become a bit like our scrapbook of misery.

But we can scoop up all of the energy of keeping track, and fixate it on what is working. We can keep track of all the goodness in people and make lists of favorable outcomes, good ideas that worked and moments that lit us up. We can keep track of the times we were able to help and make a difference. We can keep track of all the blessings and all of the beauty, the gifts and gloriousness, the moments that are too good to forget.

This piece of writing was inspired by an entry from a year ago. I loved being reminded to keep track of the good and thought you might like to be reminded also.

Big love,
Tammy
