coming back.

Yesterday I was in Heinens and I ran into a student I have not seen for 18 months. It was so good to see her face and reconnect. She started with “I miss yoga! I am so sorry I haven’t been back to class, I just feel so out of yoga practice after all this time.

I assured her she didn’t owe me an apology - that life ebbs and flows and so does our practice. I also reminded her that when the time was right for her to return to her mat, her practice, the practice - would meet her right where she is in that sacred moment.

If you have given up on your practice these past 18 months or so, don’t worry.

Your practice has not given up on you.

Your practice is inside of you and part of you and will never, has never, left you.

When you are ready to come back, we are here for you. Your mat is here for you. Your practice is with you.

If you know someone that has fallen away from their yoga practice, forward this to them. Remind them what you know and have felt on your mat.

We do this for each other 💛

Big love,
Tammy
