The ritual of ending one calendar year and beginning a new one, runs far and deep within our collective consciousness.

In some ways we benefit from this universal “begin again.” But the arbitrary nature of a date on the calendar reminds us that we can begin again at any moment. Armed with inner resilience and awareness, the begin again can be a daily ritual.

On our mats the begin again happens countless times with each deliberate inhale and each conscious exhale. The pulling in and the letting go.

It is a special time of year when we all lift our heads up and stretch our hearts open and begin anew. But know in your heart that you hold all that is needed to create the sacred ritual of begin again at any moment. It takes the pressure off a bit!
